May 18, 2020 is the construction of a green courtyard Heliport started. The site will not only be green make over, there will also be more leeway and water storage. The work will be combined with work already planned: the replacement of the sewer system in the district. The downspouts in the courtyard will also be disconnected from the sewerage system, as part of a climate-proof neighborhood.
With residents of Heliport, Stichting Tussentuin and the municipality of Rotterdam, a lot of hard work has been done on the design for the inner area. The new site is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
